Daniel More, MD
Dr. More received a BS degree in biomedical sciences from the University of California, Riverside, and his MD degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then trained in Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology while at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. More also holds a MS degree in medical nutrition from Arizona State University. He is board-certified in Allergy & Immunology and is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI).
Upon completion of training, Dr. More served as Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Luke AFB in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2003-2006. He attained the rank of Major in the United States Air Force before joining Central Coast Allergy and Asthma (CCAA) in Monterey, California, in 2006. While working at CCAA, Dr. More served as an assistant clinical professor at the UCSF School of Medicine and was an instructor at the California State University at Monterey Bay (CSUMB) Physician Assistant Program. Dr. More has always wanted to live and work in San Luis Obispo and felt fortunate to be able to take advantage of an opportunity to join Allergy Partners of the Central California Coast in 2022.
Dr. More has published numerous scientific papers, with ground-breaking research performed in the areas of venom allergy, food and drug allergy, nutrition and allergy prevention, as well as writing articles in the fields of cardiology and infectious diseases. He has been recognized by the AAAAI for outstanding research published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
