John E. Van Wye, MD
Dr. Van Wye is a native of Kansas, and received his undergraduate degree from Harvard, and his medical degree from Stanford. He spent an additional five years at Stanford for his residency and fellowship in allergy and immunology.
He is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. He is on the medical staff of Missions Hospitals in Asheville, and Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville.
In 1991, he moved to Asheville from Stanford with his wife, Dr. Hope Mustoe, a pediatrician. They have two children, Ian, born in 1994, and Eliza, born in 1997.

In his free time, he especially enjoys hiking and traveling with his family.
