Joseph Poole, NP

Joseph (Joe) Poole APRN, FNP-C, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and has been a nurse for 12 years. He then achieved a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and has been an Advanced Practice Nurse, Family specialty, since 2016. Over the last 9 years as an APRN, Joe remembers his first year in practice, starting with the Allergy Clinic of Houston. This training was especially helpful when he transitioned to internal/primary medicine and was able to identify and treat asthma/allergy patients throughout his career. Once Joe got to Santa Fe, NM he began to realize the level of environmental factors contributing to patient illness:

“There are more extreme allergy/asthma flares than I ever imagined in the Southwest. It was surreal, I got here, and my son developed a reactive airway and eczema, and for the first time in my life, I began to have eczema. Now I know why Doc Holiday left Las Vegas New Mexico for greener pastures, there was no Allergy Partners here back then.”
