Melissa Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas before earning her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Virginia. She returned to Arkansas for medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed her pediatric residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through Washington University in St. Louis, followed by Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Her interests include food allergy, allergic rhinitis, and asthma.

“I love the field of Allergy & Immunology because it provides the opportunity to care for patients of all ages while managing a wide variety of allergic and immunologic conditions. My goal is to make a positive impact on all my patients’ lives through high-quality, compassionate care.”

Outside of work, Dr. Anderson enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
