Nicole Trainor, MS, PA-C
Nicole Trainor, MS PA-C, attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Nicole currently holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants. As the parent of a child with food allergies, she feels honored to serve those in the allergy, asthma, and immunodeficiency community.
A Colorado native, Nicole was raised in La Junta and moved to Fort Collins following high school to attend Colorado State University. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology there in 2004, Nicole enjoyed employment for several years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Fort Collins. During that time, she performed research on flaviviruses, including West Nile Virus, and co-authored three journal articles. Nicole also spent time as a stay-at-home mom with her two children prior to attending the PA program.
Nicole’s favorite way to spend time is with her husband and their children, preferably in the mountains with their 1970 American camping trailer and plenty of coffee and books. On a more ordinary day, she enjoys time spent at home, taking in a beautiful sunset on the deck with her husband; and watching her children participate in gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, and playing piano.
