Sol Drapkin, MD
Dr. Drapkin, a native of Boston, MA, received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York. He then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he earned his M.D. Dr. Drapkin then moved to Chicago, his wife’s hometown, where he completed a three-year residency in internal medicine and an additional two year fellowship in allergy and immunology at Rush University.
Dr. Drapkin is board certified in internal medicine as well as allergy and immunology and he has been seeing patients of all ages at Allergy Partners of Chicago (formerly Asthma and Allergy Associates) since 2004. He is on staff at multiple area hospitals where he teaches medical students and residents, and he is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and he lives in Skokie, a suburb of Chicago, with his wife and four children.
